Process
My portraits start with a simple photo shoot at your
home or in a place of your choosing and, if necessary, I will also make a few sketches and/or color studies.
During a photo shoot I will try different poses, backdrops and lighting. Once completed we review the photos together to
find which ones might work best for a painting. This is an interactive effort and helps to start the process of designing your
painting.
Delivery is usually a minimum of three months but may be
longer if I have a heavy workload. If you would like to give a portrait as a gift I recommend getting in touch well in advance of special occasions or holidays. I’m always delighted to hear from you and
discuss any questions you may have or talk about my work in general.
Fees
A deposit of 50% is requested on all commissioned work. The balance is payable on delivery and acceptance of your painting.
