People: head and shoulder portraits start at $875
Dogs and Cats: start at $750
Horses: head and neck portraits start at $750
Painting Restoration: priced individually on request
A deposit of 50% is requested, the balance is payable on delivery and acceptance of your painting.
Process
Portraits can be commissioned in oil, pastel or graphite.
In all cases the portrait design is a collaborative process between a client and myself.
Most of my commissioned paintings and all my animal portraits are done from photographic reference material.
Photos are usually taken in a single session lasting 1 to 2 hours at your home or in a
special place of your choosing. I only photograph in natural light
which makes the photography session a bit less intimidating and gives us a
lot of flexibility in choosing locations.
I will work from a client's own photos in special cases.
I can size the portrait as appropriate for the subject and to fit your wall space. All my
work is delivered unframed so please allow a little extra around the sides
to accommodate the frame you choose.
